I’m Jessie, the Director and founder of Big Stars Theatre & Dance School Ltd.

Performing arts has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I attended dance, drama and singing classes, took part in many performances and productions, and gained a range of qualifications across music and performance.

My teaching journey began at just 14 years old as a class helper within a theatre school. I later progressed to Teaching Assistant and then Teacher, before taking over the school’s two existing classes in January 2017 and launching Big Stars Theatre & Dance School.

Since then, Big Stars has grown enormously. What started as just two classes has developed into a thriving performing arts school, offering a wide range of classes, performances, competitions, workshops and opportunities for children across multiple locations.

I have put my heart and soul into building Big Stars and creating a school where every student feels supported, encouraged and able to grow. With over 15 years of teaching experience, my biggest passion is now helping children develop not only their performance skills, but also their confidence, friendships and self-belief.

The most rewarding part of my job is watching students flourish, from nervous first classes to confidently stepping onto a stage and achieving things they never thought possible. I am incredibly proud of how far Big Stars has come and of the wonderful community it has become.

Hi I’m Jess, I’m a performing arts teacher for Big Stars. 

I graduated from The Brighton Academy in 2023 with a first class degree in Musical Theatre. Since I have performed all over the UK doing dance and singing gigs, in two pantomimes Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella, as well as moving to Egypt and being a dancer for 4 months. 

Over this time I have also taught here in North Wales as well as London and Brighton I have completely fallen in-love with teaching as my true love and passion lies with dancing, singing and acting being able to pass on even

some of that love to children is a dream.

I'm Steph, a dance and drama teacher at Big Stars Theatre & Dance School.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Dance and 7 years teaching experience. I have danced with a competitive team since I was 14 and I am trained in an array of styles. I have performed with different theatre companies and appeared in several music videos. I also worked in the fitness and leisure industry for 3 years. As well as teaching and performing, health and well-being are very important to me. I thrive watching children develop their skills and passion. 

Elisa has been singing for almost 10 years now with a distinction in her Grade 5 Music Theory exam and her Grade 8 Musical Theatre exam. She has previously performed as a guest soloist in concerts hosted by Flintshire county council as well as winning Fleetwood Festival’s Musical Theatre Competition.

Hi, I’m Amy, a passionate dance teacher with over 20 years of experience in the Specialising in street dance, hip hop and commercial styles, I’ve had the privilege of teaching classes across schools and working with big stars. Over the years, I’ve also taken part in numerous street dance competitions across the UK, bringing that same energy and creativity into my teaching. My goal is to inspire and empower every dancer I work with to express themselves confidently through movement.
