 Our Drama classes are fun, creative and confidence-building, giving children the opportunity to explore all aspects of performance in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Sessions include drama games, improvisation, script work, character development, devising original pieces and exploring different styles of theatre and performance. Students also work towards shows, performances and grades giving them the chance to put their skills into practice and enjoy performing for an audience.


We run drama classes for children aged 3-18 years old.

Drama is fantastic for developing confidence, imagination and creativity, while also helping children strengthen their communication, concentration, teamwork and social skills. Most importantly, our classes encourage every child to express themselves, build self-belief and enjoy being part of a creative team.

Our Street Dance classes are energetic, upbeat and full of fun, giving students the chance to build their dance skills while learning exciting routines in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Classes include warm-ups, stretches, technique work, choreography and cool-downs, with students learning a variety of routines throughout the year. There are also plenty of opportunities to perform, including our large-scale shows, competitions and community events. Our more advanced dancers also have the opportunity to begin exploring the competitive side of dance.


We run Street Dance classes for children aged 3-18 years old.

Street Dance is a fantastic way to improve fitness, rhythm, coordination, flexibility, strength and stamina. It also helps students develop confidence, performance skills and the ability to work as part of a team.


Most importantly, our classes are designed to help children enjoy dance, express themselves and grow in confidence while staying active and learning new skills.

Our Contemporary Dance classes give students the opportunity to explore movement, emotion and expression while developing strong dance technique.


Classes include warm-ups, stretching, technique exercises, choreography and cool-downs, with students learning a variety of routines throughout the year. Contemporary combines elements of styles including lyrical, modern, jazz and classical ballet, creating a versatile and expressive form of dance.

Students are encouraged to connect with the music, explore storytelling through movement and develop their own performance style. They will also have opportunities to perform in shows, showcases and other Big Stars events throughout the year. Our more advanced dancers also have the opportunity to begin exploring the competitive side of dance.


We run Contemporary Dance classes for children aged 3-18 years old.

Contemporary Dance is fantastic for improving flexibility, posture, coordination, musicality, strength and stamina. It is also a wonderful way for children to build confidence, creativity and self-expression while developing both their technical and performance skills.

Our Acro classes combine dance, gymnastics-style skills and acrobatic technique, helping students to develop strength, flexibility, control and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Students work on a wide range of skills including balances, bridges, walkovers, handstands, cartwheels, tumbling, partner work and elements of contortion, with exercises adapted to suit each child’s age and ability. Classes also focus on conditioning, flexibility and technique to help students build the strength and control needed to progress safely.


Acro is a fantastic way to improve coordination, balance, body awareness, stamina and overall fitness, while also encouraging determination, resilience and self-confidence. Students are supported to work towards new skills at their own pace and celebrate their individual progress.


Classes suitable for children aged 18 months-18 years old.

Performance is also an important part of our Acro programme, with opportunities to take part in Big Stars shows, showcases and community events. More advanced students can also access competitive opportunities and represent Big Stars at dance competitions.

 

Our Musical Theatre classes combine singing, dancing and acting, giving students the chance to develop a wide range of performance skills while exploring songs and routines from popular musicals.

Sessions include vocal work, choreography, characterisation, acting through song and ensemble performance, helping students learn how to bring a musical number to life on stage. Students will work on a variety of styles throughout the year, from classic musicals to modern West End and Broadway favourites.


Suitable for 3-18 year olds.

Musical Theatre is fantastic for building confidence, performance ability, musicality and stage presence. It also encourages teamwork, creativity and self-expression, while helping children develop their singing and dance skills in a fun and supportive environment.


Students will have opportunities to perform in Big Stars shows, showcases and community events throughout the year, giving them the chance to put their skills into practice and experience the excitement of performing as part of a cast.

Whether your child loves to sing for fun or wants to develop their voice further, our singing sessions provide a supportive environment where students can build confidence and learn how to use their voice effectively.


We offer both our group Singing Club and 1:1 singing lessons with our fantastic vocal coach, allowing students to choose the style of learning that suits them best.

Sessions cover vocal warm-ups, breathing and breath control, pitch, rhythm, musicality, diction and vocal technique. Students will learn how to develop and strengthen their voice, sing with greater control and confidence, and understand how to communicate the meaning and emotion of a song through performance.


Sessions available for all ages.

Our 1:1 sessions allow lessons to be tailored specifically to the individual, whether they are working on confidence, vocal technique, preparing for a performance or simply developing their love of singing.


Students will also have opportunities to showcase their vocal skills through Big Stars performances and events.

Our Ballet classes are a gentle and enjoyable introduction to dance, specially designed for our youngest students.

Through music, movement and imaginative activities, children begin to learn basic ballet positions, simple movements and short sequences while developing coordination, balance and body awareness. Sessions include warm-ups, stretching and lots of opportunities to move, explore and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.


We run Ballet classes for children aged 18m-3 years old.

Ballet at this age is a lovely way to encourage musicality, listening skills, concentration and creativity, while also helping children become comfortable taking part in a structured class.
