Big Stars Theatre & Dance School is a thriving performing arts school offering exciting, high-quality classes for children and young people across Flintshire and Chester.
We provide a wide range of classes including Drama, Street Dance, Acro, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Singing and Contemporary Dance for students aged 18 months to 18 years. Our classes are designed to develop confidence, creativity, performance skills and technique, while giving every child the opportunity to have fun, make friends and discover a love of the performing arts. Students also have the opportunity to take part in shows, showcases, community performances and competitive events throughout the year, with plenty of chances to experience the excitement of performing on stage. Alongside our group classes, we also offer 1:1 tuition in singing, dance and acting for students looking for more focused, individual coaching.
At Big Stars, we are passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every student can grow, achieve and shine.
At Big Stars Theatre & Dance School, we believe performing arts should be exciting, rewarding and accessible to every child.
Our classes are about so much more than learning routines. We help children build confidence, develop new skills, make friendships and grow as performers in a positive and supportive environment.
Students are given regular opportunities to perform for friends and family, take part in community events and work towards our own internal grades, awards and achievement certificates, giving them plenty of chances to celebrate their progress.
For students who want to take their training further, we also offer advanced and competitive opportunities, with dancers representing Big Stars at competitions across the country.
Most importantly, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming community where every student is encouraged to be themselves, work towards their own goals and feel proud of what they achieve.
Our mission at Big Stars Theatre & Dance School is to help every student grow in confidence, self-belief and a genuine love of performing.
We believe the performing arts can have a hugely positive impact on young people, giving them a creative outlet, encouraging self-expression and helping them develop skills that reach far beyond the stage.
We want our students to progress in performance, technique and ability, while also building friendships, resilience and confidence in themselves. Just as importantly, we want every child to look forward to coming to class each week, feel supported and, above all, have fun.
Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where children and young people feel free to express themselves, try new things, celebrate their individuality and grow into confident performers both on and off the stage.
